# BBC's "Merlin" - King Arthur Portrait Study

My very first painting on Clip Studio Paint on my new tablet!

I'm learning lots from Jon Hardesty's course, "How to Paint Expressive Portraits" on Schoolism. I feel like I've made so much progress with this one course. It's awesome! I'm a bit more confident in portraiture.

I'm particularly proud of this one because I didn't use the color picker for once. I'm training myself to do color/value studies with the ole eyeballs. 👀 I've become overly reliant on the color picker tool and blending modes.

**THAT ENDS TODAY!**
